Tramway Model Project at the Cloyne Pioneer Museum
The Cloyne Pioneer Museum and Archives was a recipient of a grant from the Endowment Fund that enabled the creation of a historic tramway model for the Museum. Margaret Axford, Curator for the Pioneer Museum explains the tramway was a means of overland transporting logs by horses on rails from Mazinaw to Pringle Lake in the late 1800s. The model is now on permanent display at the Museum.
